Who We Are

Capital Link assists health centers in accessing capital for building and equipment projects and provides extensive technical assistance to health centers throughout the capital development process.  We also provide targeted loans to assist health centers in leveraging other sources of capital.

From financial and market feasibility reviews to business plans, proposal development and targeted loans, Capital Link assists health centers in strengthening their abilities to plan and carry out successful capital projects.

Working nationally out of its offices in Massachusetts, California, District of Columbia, Maryland, Missouri, Washington and West Virginia, to date Capital Link has assisted health centers in obtaining grants and loans for approximately 174 capital projects totaling over $721 million. Through this network, and as a National Association of Community Health Center (NACHC) partner, we are able to address your individual capital project needs more readily.

Additionally, Capital Link receives funding from several federal agencies and foundations. Consequently, Capital Link provides some assistance without charge or at subsidized rates.

Capital Link was founded through the joint efforts of the Community Health Center Capital Fund, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, National Association of Community Health Centers and Primary Care Associations in Illinois, North Carolina and Texas.
