    Phase 2

Financial Projections, Business Planning, and Deal Structuring

Financial assistance services to successfully secure the most competitive financing option for a proposed facility project. Depending on the type of financing the health center chooses, this phase may include:

    • A preliminary financial forecast

    • The identification of an optimal financing structure for the project

    • Financial projections and necessary updates

    • A complete business plan tailored to the intended financing source(s)

    Phase 3

Application to Lenders and Negotiation of Financial Commitments

Depending on the agreed-upon financing strategy, Capital Link assists in preparing all necessary application materials for required credit enhancement sources, including loan guarantees, applications for bank letters of credit, and/or bond insurance. We can also assist in negotiating term sheets and commitment letters, and resolving issues between multiple lenders.

    Phase 4

    Managing the Closing Process

Acting as an advisor throughout the closing process, Capital Link works to finalize funding commitments, facilitate communication and follow up with lenders, and help resolve various financing-related issues that inevitably occur during the closing process.

    Phase 5

    Assessing and Describing Community Impact

Health centers will be presented with useful information for garnering support for the project and for the health center in general with the community, foundations, lenders, and other audiences.
