Highlights
Capital Link has assisted many Community Health Centers and
Primary Care Associations (PCAs) in planning and obtaining financing for
building and equipment projects. Since our inception, we have provided
direct assistance for obtaining financing for over 126 health centers and PCAs. Below are a few highlights
of the assistance we have provided over the years. Click on a category

As of December, 2010, staff has closed transactions totaling over
$564
million for hundreds of individual health centers and
Primary Care Associations (PCAs) for capital projects totaling
approximately $719 million including:

Grants - Nearly $50 million
for over 60 health centers in Alaska, Arkansas, California,
District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota,
Mississippi, New Hampshire,
New York, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, and Texas.

Bank
or other Loans - (including conventional lenders,
USDA, CDFIs and HUD) - $180 million for 65 health centers and PCAs in
Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida,
Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New
York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and
Wisconsin.

Forgivable
Loans and Soft Debt -
Over $80 million for 20 health centers in California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota,
Vermont, and Wisconsin.

Tax-Exempt
Bond Financings - Over $180 million for 30 health
centers and primary care associations in California, District
of Columbia, Illinois,
Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Washington.

Equipment
Financing Loans - $3.1 million in equipment financing
loans for 5 health centers in Arizona, Massachusetts, Rhode
Island, and Texas.

Lines
of Credit - $3.5 million in lines of credit for 7 health
centers in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

New Markets Tax Credit
