The Capital Development Learning Collaborative - Early Project Planning Stages is designed to assist health centers anticipating beginning a capital project in the next 1-5 years, providing practical direction and tools for planning, financing, and successfully completing a capital project. This webinar series will include guidance on organizational readiness, select financial and operational benchmarks, financial capacity, and how to begin planning for your capital project.

Beginning in January 2025, through its four interactive sessions, the Collaborative will cover the following topics:

  • Session 1 - January 9, 2025 at 2:00pm ET - Strategic Planning: Active Preparation 

  • Session 2 - January 16, 2025 at 2:00pm ET - Market Assessment: Identify Opportunities

  • Session 3 - January 23, 2025 at 2:00pm ET - Operational Assessment & Readiness 

  • Session 4 - January 30, 2025 at 2:00pm ET - Space Planning: Planning for Facility Development

Each Learning Collaborative session will include exercises and planning templates that participants can adapt for their individual organization and projects. In addition, some individualized guidance from Capital Link consultants will be available to help participating health centers understand specific aspects of their project planning and financing.
