A recently released statewide Value & Impact analysis—prepared by Capital Link for the Louisiana Primary Care Association (LPCA)—reveals that Louisiana community health centers generate $878 million annually in statewide economic impact. The report also finds in 2019, Louisiana health centers saved the healthcare system over $890 million and saved the Medicaid program $645 million.
